Friday, June 7, Dr. Damion Walker will be speaking at the 16th Annual Wichita Sports Medicine Symposium, a meeting on the latest in orthopaedics and sports medicine for multidisciplinary healthcare providers. Athletic trainers as well as emergency service, occupational therapy, and physical therapy providers will be able to earn course credit with the proper accreditation associations.
In his speaking session, Dr. Walker will cover the use of robotics in orthopaedics. Attendees will learn about the different robotic procedures now available and the rehabilitation differences between robotics and traditional surgeries.
Registration will take place from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., and Dr. Walker will be speaking at 2:00 p.m. at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, 8506 East Central Avenue, in Wichita.
