Dr. Bradley Bruner is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the evaluation and management of sports injuries and the surgical treatment of knee injuries. Dr. Bruner explains each patient’s knee or sports-related condition or injury and communicates all treatment options to create satisfying and enjoyable patient visits. Providing expert care for Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists since 1991, he is dedicated to using his skill and experience to help you stay healthy and active.
He earned his medical degree at The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City before completing his orthopaedic residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. Dr. Bruner then continued his education with a sports medicine fellowship at the Mid-America Center for Sports Medicine in 1991. He specializes in arthroscopic knee surgery and has a specific interest in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and meniscal repair utilizing the modified Henning Technique, and he trains residents in knee arthroscopy and sports medicine at The University of Kansas School of Medicine–Wichita.
For over 20 years, Dr. Bruner has served as a team physician for multiple high school and college athletic teams in the region. Unrivaled by surrounding experts, his commitment to the management of the torn ACL is unmatched. By providing patellar tendon ACL replacement surgery, he offers his patients the highest level of care with the best possible outcomes.
