About Dr. Strickland
Dr. Justin Strickland is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine doctor who specializes in care for sports-related injuries as well as the shoulder, knee, and elbow. In his approach to care, Dr. Strickland prioritizes listening to each patient, giving them all the time they deserve and using his skills to help relieve patients’ pain and get them back on the court or field.
Dr. Strickland attended Northeast Ohio Medical University, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree. He underwent his orthopaedic residency training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Strickland further refined his skills through the fellowship program in sports medicine at Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center.
Utilizing his advanced training, Dr. Strickland has significant experience with shoulder replacement surgery and reverse shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repairs, shoulder instability, and biceps issues. His expertise in elbow surgery, fracture care, hand care, and knee arthroscopy includes treatments for the ACL, meniscus, ligaments, and articular cartilage as well as hand conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger.
An avid sports fan, Dr. Strickland especially loves the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoys running and exercising as well as golf and tennis.
Dr. Strickland is available to see patients in Wichita at our East office and in Derby.
